AFSHIIN BAGHERI

I’m Afshin bagheri,
born 1987 in Mashhad. I started painting since I was a teenager.

In 2006, I entered university as a graphics major student, and through the years, I gathered experience in numerous fields of visual arts such as; photography, illustration, printing, and painting. In the end, I chose painting as my profession. From 2007 until now, I have had 7 individual exhibitions and more than 20 group exhibitions.

What I intend to share with the viewers through the medium of my works are my interest in literature, especially mythology in literature, and my social concerns.

I’ve always been interested in experiencing new paths, so recently I’ve started using sculpture and animation as ways to express myself, and I intend to continue down these paths, far away from repetition.
